Screen greys out on FB when attempting to post.

Noticed today, that when I go to post something on FB wall, using laptop, the screen greys out. Yet I can post via ipad and phone. Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong please. I have logged out and in again.

PS, after a few hours, it has rectified itself.

Sounds like a script or cache issue. Try hitting CTRL+R (hard refresh bypassing cache) on the page if it happens again. (You may lose anything you have typed, so copy it to the clipboard first.)

Mine was doing that yesterday, on IE. I switched to Chrome (which I don't like) and it worked OK. I did wonder if FB had decided they weren't supporting IE any more, but it started working again for me yesterday evening. I didn't do any refreshing or cache flushing.

I did do a bit of googling and was surprised now many threads came up along similar lines.

Mine did it on Chrome and Edge. It was a glitch from the FB end. Should be okay now, apart from freezing up for a few seconds each time I click the mouse in Farmville.
