Overdraft when Switching Accounts

My girlfriend has always been with Abbey, and has £1200 overdraft with interest rate of 10.9%.

We saw an advert for £100 if you switch to RBS, but it seems RBS charge 19.9% interest.

Therefore, can anyone advise which bank provides the cheapest overdraft rate on the market, and are there any cash offers for switching to them?

  • I'm with alliance and leicester free overdraft for i think 12 months or could be more they give you the same what your old bank gave you for an overdraft. :money::money:

    60.00 cashback with quidco
  • With RBS and NatWest, if you use up to and not more than £100 then you pay no interest on it, but if you use £100.01 then you are charged interest on the whole amount. Hope that clarifies that point.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
