Advice on PPI claim please

Hi.
I've received a letter from Lloyds Group saying that when I claimed my bank package charges back in 2015 they had decided to only refund a partial fee and they've requested I complete a form to see if i am owed any more money.
Now my question is... I also claimed back PPI from a mortgage with Barclays so should I be asking them to also re assess the claim? If so, is there a generic form I could use?
Many thanks

What exactly is the link between Lloyds, PBAs, Barclays and PPI? I cant see one from your post.
If your complaint was rejected, you get 6 months to appeal it. After that it is game over. The exception is where the bank is either told to review complaint rejections in a given period or they volunteer to do it. Lloyds going back over old complaint responses in a given period or finding data they didnt have access to at the time has no impact on another bank or another product.
As it happens, most MPPI complaints fail. So, its not as if you got an unusual outcome. You got the most statistically likely outcome.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). There is no reason to believe Barclays has underpaid redress on a PPI complaint simply because Lloyds have reviewed an entirely different complaint about a packaged account.I also claimed back PPI from a mortgage with Barclays so should I be asking them to also re assess the claim?
Lloyds will have told you that they were only partially upholding your complaint in 2015.
Hmmm, I'm reading it that the OP had a successful mortgage PPI complaint and wants to know if they can somehow get some more?most MPPI complaints fail. So, its not as if you got an unusual outcome. You got the most statistically likely outcome.0 -
Sorry, perhaps I wasn't clear enough. I successfully received monies back through a third party for both PPI on a mortgage (Barclays) and package bank account (Lloyds). I wondered if I should ask Barclays to re assess considering Lloyds have sent me a letter saying their payout was incorrect and I wasnt refunded in full. Or if anyone has been through this themselves.0

Lloyds contacted you directly because they found an issue. If Barclays find an issue they will contact you directly. You didnt write to Lloyds and you dont write to Barclays.
That is unless you have significant new evidence to suggest that Barclays have made exactly the same mistake that Lloyds did.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
