Private Parking Charge (UK Parking Control Ltd)

Hi all,
Entirely a newbie here and wondered if I could get some assistance.
We live on a private street whereby the management company have sent us a letter suggesting the parking out the front of the street will be charged with a ticket if not in the correct marked bay as of 27th Feb (I have a marked bay but someone was parked in it when getting home last night which I have pictures of).
Today (27th Feb) I woke up having parked on the road (not in a marked bay) with a parking fine and with the new parking signs having been put up overnight, not only this, they must have done it between midnight and 3am as my charge was issued at 3:11am.
The ticket is from UK Parking Control Ltd who are a BPA member, and I just wondered if anyone has dealt with them before and what the best course of action should be? If I ignore all communication from them will they go away? Or, should I appeal on the grounds that the signs were not there when I parked/may have been there but it was dark, and someone else was in my space.
Or do I simply just have to pay this charge.
All of your great peoples help is much appreciated
Thanks!

all ecplained in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky thread that you appear to not have read
also read the latest BPA CoP which talks about new regimes and new signage etc
appeal as KEEPER , using the template letter , on day 26
only a fool would IGNORE it if that person resides in england or wales0 -
Apologies Redx, as I said a newbie and not sure how this all works. Thanks for your help

its simple , research first, then post about the issue and about what you need further info on
and complain to the fools that employed UKPC and get the ticket cancelled , without revealing who parked the vehicle
ie:- complain as keeper to the M.A.
then in 25 to 26 days time, appeal as keeper with the template
bear in mind that this wont be the last as UKPC have a captive audience as victims to prey upon , including you
its like having aids or ebola thrust upon you and being unable to get rid of it0
