Reality is we can’t be flat out all day every day. We need some down time too. Seems like you still got some good things done. I’ve finally sewn together something I knitted about 5 years ago! There were so many ends to sew in but done now. Just needs an iron - wonder how long it will take me to do that!!! Hope you’ve had some nice relaxing with Mr F.9

It's lovely getting old projects finished, Purps. I don't like sewing in ends though, as it is so tedious. I save it for when I've got something good to watch on TV. I've joined the shoulders of my jumper today, knitted the neck gussets & I'm doing the neckband now. I will start the sleeves tomorrow, so will defo have a nice new warm addition to my wardrobe ready for autumn & winter.

Hope you get a better nights sleep tonight Foxgloves. It's been horrible here today, cold and rainy and the sky looks apocalyptic 🙀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8949

Am looking forward to a photo of your jumper foxgloves. I knitted myself a jumper a couple of years ago but it ended up too big. I’m thinking of undoing it and knitting my 2 daughters one each out of the wool.I had a rubbish nights sleep on Friday too, last night was much better. Hope yours was too. And hope your cat is ok, my cat has just pushed my hand whilst I was typing that so guessing that its good wishes from one fur ball to another 😃8

Thanks, PurpleFairy. We have thankfully managed to get a vet appointment later this afternoon (although we are not allowed in the building ourselves due to their strict anti-Covid measures), although I am not at all hopeful about our cat. He is quite old, about 14 now & the signs of ageing he has been showing over this year have really progressed in the last few days, meaning that I would now describe him as really quite poorly. He isn't eating anything either, so I am bracing myself for bad news.
Am keeping myself busy in the meantime with skyping, knitting, sorting out the grocery budget & banking and having a good tidy up.
Chilly & wet again here. The garden looks much better for the rain, but it is a bit too cold for planting out my sweetcorn & final 4 squash plants and too soggy to weed the strawberry bed, so I am going to see if it warms up a bit as we get into next week.
Take care all,

I'm sorry to hear your lovely cat is poorly. I hope the vet can do something to perk him up.
It's coolish here too but warmer than yesterday. The weather is certainly changeable at the moment.
Do you find your face masks comfortable to wear and did you make the same size for you and Mr F? What type of material did you use? I think you're very clever to be able to make them. I've just ordered a couple from Etsy for £7.50 each and free delivery which I thought was quite reasonable. They had a lovely choice of colours/patterns and lots of good reviews so I hope I'll be pleased with them when they come. They are the pleated kind with elastic that goes over the ears and with space for a filter.
I hope you've been sleeping better since your bad night. I didn't sleep well last night as I found myself thinking about upsetting/worrying things and it's hard to shift your mindset once you get into a certain groove of thought.
