busy day yesterday. Reported a few babies from my spider plant. Noticed I have a few chilli seeds have produced shoots, which gave me the encourage to see a few more. Repotted a basil plant a little boy gave me, grown for his school project. Recycling my plastic to use in my little project. Love the challenge of low cost gardening, and reading everyone’s progress x7

A couple of years ago I asked OH to trim an inch off my long hair, his first cut was 4 inches and then he proceeded to take little bits of their "to tidy it up", it ended up being about 5 inches shorter! I didn't even get a walnut whip.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

I'm just going feral as far as my hair is concerned, My mum let my dad trim hers the other day and from what I could see he actually did a good job which is surprising seeing as he can't see properly or even stand up straight 🙀 my hair is really short normally so it's annoying me now,I've trimmed the fringe so I can see where I'm going but I'm leaving the rest of it to do it's own thing 😀 Things are going downhill here because I am wearing a T-shirt that hasn't been ironed today, I even iron my Pjs so this is rebellious behaviour 😂😂
I am glad to here that you still have both your ears though😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8949 -

Over the last 12-18 months my hair has been falling out (stress) It didn't do it all together but started at the back and worked it's way to the front! Grew in again at different rates and then did the same thing again.. I wan't happy
Decided a couple of weeks ago I couldn't stand it any more and took OH clippers to it on the largest comb thing. It's now about 1 inch long all over (apart from a bald bit on the top) but doesn't look as bad as it sounds,
I figured the worst that could happen was it would grow again whilst we were in lockdown!

Chrystal - I've noticed that I definitely shed hair when I am under prolonged periods of stress. I first noticed it when I was about 30 & waiting for a big surgery. Then it was noticeable again when my Dad died & again when we had Mum in hospital & all the aftermath of her death. It isn't enough actually to notice looking in the mirror but it is always a shock to see how much comes out when I comb it. Then when the stressful times subsides, it stops & goes back to normal.

Hello diary readers - I know I was supposed to be updating my diary every day without fail as motivation through my planned Very Productive Week, but I didn't get around to it yesterday......but for a positive reason, as I was too busy being productive!
I made bread dough for rolls & pizza base, then my main task yesterday was to make up the face masks I cut out & pinned the previous day. I can sew, but am reluctant with a needle & lack confidence, whereas I will happily cast on complex knitting patterns. I set my sewing machine up in the conservatory with the doors flung wide & the radio on and the ironing board upstairs to sort out all the pleating and although I have ten masks which have come out much better than I thought they would, they took me almost all day & are without doubt the most boring thing I have ever sewn in my life. There was an extra layer of faff because I thought if I was going to the trouble of making some, I may as well make decent ones, so I chose that online pattern with the little pocket in the back for inserting an additional level of filtration. Until now, I've been unsure whether to make any at all. As with most other advice that is virus-related atm, it has been very conflicted.....'Don't bother, there's no point wearing face coverings' to 'They might be better than nothing' & now it seems to be that they are of some benefit when visiting places where social distancing is likely to be difficult. So I decided to make a batch of ten for the two of us......my sister is getting on quite well with hers. She gets back in her car, takes off the mask touching only the elastic, drops it on the car floor then when she gets home it goes straight in the washing machine followed by a handwash. I think I will follow this routine until further advice (or more like until I feel confident) as I do like to support smaller independent local shops & there isn't much room in many of those.
I'd hoped to have finished the masks by lunchtime, so by the time I was putting my pizza in the oven, I was disappointed not to have got out in the garden at all. I decided to spend an hour in the evening doing some greenhouse jobs & it proved really useful as I potted all my chilli plants up into their final pots & watered all the new bedding I've got in so far.
Then we sat out on the patio with a gingerbread gin watching the swifts performing their acrobatics while I finished knitting B-in- L's socks for the present bag, so I felt I'd enjoyed some fresh air after all.
So that was Tuesday's productivity.

Youre all very brave letting your OH's cut your hair! I let mine do my roots with a root touch up and he does a good job but scissors?
Not a chance!! I have a fringe so Im at that stage now where its getting in my eyes. What to do? Might just let it grow longer and push to the side till hairdressers are back on the agenda. Grey roots depress me far more than untidy hair!
Think I need to get to the allotment and undo the greenhouse doors as its going to be a hot one! Got most of my seedlings planted out the other day with the exception of courgettes and squash which will go out begiinning of June.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75....
