Help and guidance on PPI Reclaim

Hoping that someone can help with some advice on how I go about reclaiming possible PPI's.
I took out an Endowment Mortgage with Norwich Union via a Broker in 1988 - is this too late to do anything about due to it being so long ago? Who do I contact as Norwich Union doesn't exist anymore and nor does the Broker and his company. I have no paper work but do have the account number - Any ideas? Also had a top up endowment with Guardian Royal Exchange a few years later...again no paperwork but do have account number. Any ideas as the best way to approach these...by letter or email?
Thanks

Endowments cant have PPI on them. So, you can eliminate that.

Again, it cant have PPI on it. So, you do nothing.
