Turned 35 but still getting shared accom payment

Hi im on Esa Income based and i rent privately (1 bedroom flat)

I was having to put £25 a week towards my rent as i was under 35 and was only allowed shared accomodation rent. I turned 35 on 30th Jan and ive had since had two rent payments to my bank (Paid Fortnightly)

But i am still only getting the shared accom payment.

Have the rules changed again or should i contact someone about this?

Thanks

It could be because HB is paid in arrears - not sure how this works when you turn 35.

Best thing to do is to ring the LA and ask.

4 weekly payments are to Housing Associations or private landlords otherwise it's 2 weeks in arrears to the customer.
The system recognises the date of birth and should adjust the assessment.
If not then ring as advised
