This does appear to be a business to business transaction.
But the fact that it's a business oriented service also doesn't preclude OP from buying as a consumer. It's possible, for example, that the service supports some leisure activity OP set up with a bunch of friends.
Of course, since they make reference to removing the number from their website, it does sound like a business to business transaction on the face of it, but it's worth mentioning to cover all the bases.
Of course, as a virtual receptionist service, Telecoms World will easily be able to identify exactly what type of service it is - "Thanks for calling Bobby's bits, press 1 for sales" vs "You've reached the house party number for the halls of residence, press 1 to find out when we're next hosting a party" for example.0 -
Even if this were a consumer contract I can't see how, other than having a guy with a megaphone shouting it down your ear, they could make it much clearer.
Here is their website https://www.telecomsworldplc.co.uk/virtual-receptionist0 -
The only issue I can see is that you have to dig into the T&C's to find out that there's a 12 month minimum term. I'd consider that one of the core terms of the contract, that should be more prominent.
Edit: Also, the Minimum Term is defined as "the minimum initial period of service provision for each service, as set out in the order confirmation agreement for each service" - in a Consumer contract, that wouldn't fly - you can't be held to terms that aren't availble before the contract is entered into.0 -

Yes, but I lost track of then this date was.
I don't think this makes any sense. The keys "t" and "w" aren't close to each other.
Students these days, eh? I blame Tony Blair...
EDIT: We used to use pieces of paper called calendars (or even Filofaxes if you could afford to buy them). Even diaries come to mind...0 -

These days you can hire a virtual P.A who will keep track of things like this for you.0 -
I suspect this is just another of the expensive lessons you'll have at Uni, just learn from it.0
