Transfer of registration document
Hi, this is my first time posting so apologies if this topic has been covered before... I recently emigrated to Africa and asked a friend to sell my car and in between use the car if he needed to... He then went onto sign the registration documents and was going to transfer the car into his name (we had spoken about it and it was agreed)... However after signing my friend passed away and now I have given the car to my niece.... Now as she is going to be the new keeper she has a problem... The document is signed by another person.. Can I just tippex the document and ask her to sign and send or do we need to talk with DVLC??? Can someone kindly advise... Many thanks...
