Hi All,
I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. The issue I have is I have no idea if I had PPI or currently have PPI.
My financial history is, I have never owned a Credit Card in my life.
Had a mortgage with Santander.
Currently hold a mortgage with Nationwide and have a loan on my car. No other debts.
How do I check if I had PPI and do I go about the whole process of reclaiming?
Many Thanks
apologies if these are basic questions

You ask the lender if you had PPI.
If they say yes, you tell them why you think it was mis sold to you.0 -
@zx81 ok great, is there a template email or do I just send general email asking my question to Santander?
I will ring my current mortgage provider and the loan provider.
Thanks0 -
Just ask them directly.0

If you had Mortgage PPI then you would see a seperate monthly payment to it. Its one of the reasons why most MPPI complaints fail as it is not built into the debt.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). A-ha I do not think I had that. Will check my old statements when I get home.0
