Hi all,
Am I correct in thinking that despite the change to monthly government bonus payments for 2018/19, a £4000 deposit into the account as late as March 2019 will still result in receiving the full £1000 government bonus?
Many thanks

Yes, whenever you put the money in you will get the government bonus on whatever timescales it takes your provider to claim the money from the government after you've put your money in for that period. If the money goes in on Friday 29 March or even Friday 5 April 2019, you are not going to miss out on the bonus for the 18/19 year.

I'd advise against leaving it until end of March to open the account through, as if something goes wrong with the account opening and the money doesn't clear nto your ISA until the 19/20 tax year you will have missed out on an entire year bonus potential... :)
