What credit card to improve Experian report

Hey people,
Firstly excuse me if this question is in the wrong place or if it’s already been asked before. I just signed up to ask this question as I couldn’t find the answer.
So I bank with Nationwide these days with no overdraft (after I defalted with RBS a few years ago), I have a loan out with a credit union which I’ve been paying back in time and one credit card which I’ve been using responsibly.
My bank account and loan appear on both my Experian and Eqifax (which I get via ClearScore) accounts which is good but my Luma credit card only appears on my Eqifax.
My Equifax score seems to be better than than my Experian and I’m just wondering if this is because the credit card only appears on my Equifax report? And if so what credit card would be good to get to improve my Experian report but won’t affect my Equifax? Like to have one credit card on each credit agency instead of one on one then one on both! Is that even a good plan!?
Also any tips on what else I can do to improve my rating whilst waiting for the default to be removed would be amazing (ps I also have a Vodafone contract that I pay in time and I’ve been on the electoral role at my address for a few years now).
Any help is appreciated and again sorry if I’ve not posted this in the right place.

Ignore all of the scores given to you by the CRAs. They are all fictional and entirely useless.
The best way to build a credit history is to use a credit card and clear in full each month.
Also of course make sure you are on the ER.0 -
Ok cool,
Any idea what card I can get that will show up on Experian but not Equfax?
It’s my Experian I’m really looking to boost.

Experian is the most commonly reported to CRA, but lenders change who they use. Don't over think it.
There's a list on here somewhere of who uses who but it's never up to date.0 -

What are you looking to "boost" with Experian?0 -
I’m looking in improve my credit history with Experian with a credit card over a couple of years but I’m looking for a card that won’t show up on my Equifax as I already have a credit card that appears on that report.
If that’s even a good plan? There’s a few general questions on my post.
That’s what I have in my head but not sure it’s how it actually works.

That's the bit that makes no sense. Ideally, you want it show on all three reports.0 -
So would it be better to get a card that shows on all 3 and just terminate the one I have that only appears on one?0
-
No. It would be best to have two or three cards that show across all or most of your files.
You want to demonstrate that lenders trust you and that you can manage credit well.0 -
Ok great thanks.
I!!!8217;ll look into applying for one that covers more of the agencies.
Thanks for the help.0 -
I don't understand why your Luma (which will appear as Capital One) only appears on Equifax. I have one and it appears on all three.2.88 kWp System, SE Facing, 30 Degree Pitch, 12 x 240W Conergy Panels, Samil Solar River Inverter, Havant, Hampshire. Installed July 2012, acquired by me on purchase of house in August 20170
