Travel Insurance.
I have pre-existing medical problems.
Most insurance companies quote me in excess of £1000 for a Worldwide Annual policy.
Boots travel insurance have quoted me £306. Why such a difference?
Has anyone any experience of using Boots?
Boots is not listed on MSE recommendations for pre-existing cover. Why?

    Sorry, can't help with your Boots question. However, have you tried payingtoomuch.com for quotes?

    We halved our travel insurance premium (with pre-existings covered). Having said that, it wasn't competitive for our daughter, but worth a look.

    difference in terms and conditions perhaps? different cover amounts etc. exclusions

    Some insurers apparently only cover you for treatment in a public hospital, not a private one; I presume there is a big difference between the two in some countries and in the cost. The only way to find out is to read the small, small print.
