Loveholidays too good to be true

Hi folks,
Last Friday I was browsing flights and accommodation for a NYC trip and on TripAdvisor I saw a place called AKA Central Park should be $300ish a night but offered at £15 a night through LoveHolidays for a crazy 90% discount. I looked on TripAdvisor that it was a really place with plenty of reviews and photos and also checked that LoveHolidays were legit and ABTA protected etc. I went ahead and booked 3 nights but before I booked the flights I decided to call the accommodation to check the booking had gone through.
They said they had not received anything and when I emailed my booking confirmation to them they said they would not sell their rooms that low. I was also suspicious as the booking came through as a room with an ocean view and from mapping the accommodation it was nowhere near the ocean!
I phoned LoveHolidays who said they do not book directly with the accommodation but through a service provider who would not inform them of my booking until 24/48 hrs before. They said they would ask their web team to look and see if there was a glitch with the price.
I have now phoned them 4 times and they don’t have an answer for me and I do not wish to book my flights if I find out I have no room! Last time I call I asked to speak to a manager. They said there was no-one available and they would call me back. That was Friday.
Worst comes to worst I’ve lost £45 but that’s not really the point. Any thoughts?

I think you know the answer, it is clearly a mistake and their supplier, probably an American agency, will not confirm the booking and your £45 will be returned. There are no hotels with ocean views in New York, or indeed anywhere in the US for £15 a night. The issue is their failure to employ someone who would obviously realise that £15 was a mistake....0

Just get your money back and book with a reputable agency or direct with the hotel. If you want an ocean view it will be a fairly long commute into the city;)0

Thank you both for your replies. I would like to get my money back although LoveHolidays keep fobbing me off and do not recognise there is anything wrong with the booking. I feel they will also enforce the £25 cancellation charge.0

If LoveHolidays start to play silly and if you booked using a credit card pass it over to the credit card company to sort.0
