20/21 Oct 07 what small DFW thing will you do or have you done this weekend?

OK! You know the format, and what's more - it's the weekend :j :j :j

Let us know what small dfw thing you will do or have done this weekend.
Remember that it is not just the bigger changes that help us to become debt free - the smaller things are forming good habits that will help us get there quicker, and will help us stay debt free when we get there!

So this weekend I will:
  • Check my meters tomorrow evening to use as a comparison for my "reduce utility bill" splurge.
  • Check online banking.
  • Spend as little as possible - only milk needed I think today.
  • Continue with budgets getting ready for November!
  • work a shift in bar job
  • Dp a bit of housework - not strictly DFW, but may de-clutter a bit in the process.
  • One thing ends on ebay so need to get more loaded!
  • do piggy/quidco clicks and comps etc
  • check for mystery shops in my area - I am still missing out on too many :mad:
I hope you all have a good weekend, and be PROUD of those small steps xx

  • Hi Hypno, your dfw steps look good.

    Mine are:

    I've already listed 4 more items on ebay
    Scour house for more to list
    Have a no spend day - I only have to post ebay items but wont be my money :D
    Visit Quidco/Pigsback etc
    Stay around the mse board to get more inspiration and motivation, the more time I spend on here, the less time I have to spend money :rotfl:

    I also have lots of housework to do today, my son and I are going away for a few days t'moro so want the house to look nice and need to get caught up on laundry.

    Hope everyone's having a lovely - albeit cold - weekend xx

    Been really thinking about how to be DFW this weekend - think I'll line dry as much as I can actually.

    Also, be restrained in the wool shop today :)

    Will sort through things for Ebaying as well.

  • I have 5 items to get on ebay today and 2 of them are mobile phones so i'm hoping they'll sell well :) Also need to have a hunt around to see what else I can list. Haven't even started in the kids rooms yet, so hopefully should find plenty in there, clothes they've grown out of and toys & games they no longer play with :)

    Want to do at least 2 more hours of comps. Have already done an hour this morning, am aiming for 3 hours a day :)

    Ahhh the weekend is here! :D :T

    My DFW things today have been:

    * QuidCo searches

    * Piggy Comps

    * 2 lots of washing dried on line

    * MSE & 'green' housework (white vinegar, hot water, damp cloth dusting - that sort of thing)

    * Sold a CD on Amazon

    * Found a £10 off voucher for Lakeland which is great as I *really* need to get some little crystal de-humidifiers!

    * Went for a walk to bottle bank (erm...we bought chips on the way back though!) for free exercise. Hmmmm - somewhat cancelled out by the chips though eh? :rolleyes:

    I hope I can add some more things tomorrow.
