Does anyone have a view on the new development in Silvertown, Royal Wharf?
I’m looking to move out of the centre of town, as I can’t get the sort of house I want in my budget, and am starting to think about the new development out there. You can get a five bedroom house for less than a two bedroom flat in Canary Wharf.
If the developers deliver on their claims, it could be a nice little community, but if they dont it could be a nightmare, a soulless ghost town filled with the local youths intimidating everyone, vandalising cars, and burgling homes.
Do these sort of developments ever work?

Silvertown is a reasonably central area in London. It won't be a ghost town, thats for sure! Though it may well be soulless ...0
