Gladstones parking letter!!

Hi everyone,
Around 5 months ago I parked in a car park (NCP) for around 30 mins and didn't pay (I know dumb move right) I had done this previously and not got ticketed but that was when it was under different management.
Obviously following I received an 'invoice' requesting payment, which I chose to ignore, and continued to do so with subsequent letters.
Now I have recieved a letter from Gladstones solicitors requesting payment or legal action could be taken in a county court. The letter states our client 'may' now instruct us to take legal action.
Could I have some advice on this? I don't have long to respond and every bone in my body is telling me to ignore this letter.
Any help would be approciated

This is an entirely unregulated industry which is scamming the public with inflated claims for minor breaches of contracts for alleged parking offences.
Parking Eye, Smart and a smaller company have already been named and shamed, as has Gladstones Solicitors, and BW Legal, (who take hundreds of these cases to court, and nearly always lose), who have also been reported to the regulatory authority.
The problem has become so rampant that MPs have agreed to enact a Bill to regulate these scammers. Watch the video of the Second Reading in the HofC recently.

and complain in the most robust terms to your MP. With a fair wind most of these companies may well be put out of business by Christmas. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -
To whom does the letter suggest payment is made? Is it DRP perchance?
DRP = powerless debt collector. IGNORE.
Gladstones = solicitors who were named and shamed in parliament a couple of weeks ago as dubious operators in the parking industry.Always remember to abide by Space Corps Directive 39436175880932/B:
'All nations attending the conference are only allocated one parking space.'

Never give away clues to the driver's identity.
The driver did things on the day, but it was the keeper that received notices through the post.
There is no place for the word 'I' when describing events on the day.
With that in mind, perhaps you should edit your post so that the second sentence looks something like:Around 5 months ago a driver of my car parked it in a car park (NCP) for around 30 mins and didn't pay (I know dumb move right). The driver had done this previously and not got ticketed but that was when it was under different management. Please understand that this is not just petty pedantry.
The parking companies are known to trawl this forum just waiting for keepers to trip up.0
