Maybe I'm missing something here, but with more and more content going to iplayer, I am getting frustrated!
When I want to fast forward a programme, normally I can see the programme and am able to stop it at the point I want to. This doesn't happen with iplayer, I just see a timer. Is there a way around this?

That's fine if you know how far forward you want to go!
As an example, I like Saturday Morning kitchen which, when recorded, plays on iplayer. I only like the live cooking so flick through the old TV programme footage. Before, I was able to see when the next live cooking was on, now I can't.Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0 -
BBC have probably revamped Iplayer to "improve" the user experience.0

I have rolled back all my BBC stuff to the same versions that came on my old Galaxy S4 phone.
Every update just got worse and worse, so i installed the ancient versions and all happy again. Until they apply some update to prevent it working of course.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

30 day catch up following airing of single episodes is industry standard, but so are box sets.
More and more BBC series are being added as box sets before or just after Episode 1 is aired.
They will all then expire 30 days after the last episode has aired.
This is to compete with the likes of Netflix/NOW TV and in my eyes a welcome update to their offerings.0 -
On the Roku, iPlayer moved my favourites aka added programmes right to the bottom of the screen, most annoying.0
