What to do about small savings?

New to this forum, hello!

I have a few thousand pound in savings and currently am earning pathetic interest with the 0.2% Barclays Everyday Saver.

I would like to save up for a deposit for moving out of home when I start full time work (final year student).

What do you think?
Thank you

The top two quick links above for starters. Pay particular attention to the accounts paying 5%.

Also pay particular attention to Help To Buy and Lifetime ISAs with their 25% government bonuses, aimed very much at people saving for a deposit for their first property purchase....

If you're saving specifically for a house then this is certainly the best way to go.

If you're just looking at general rainy day savings then there are a few accounts to choose from that pay 5% interest. Take a look on the banking and saving pages on the main site.
