Old laptop insurance

Hi just wanted to know what my rights are concerning an old insurance I took out at Currys when I purchased a laptop in 2009. I didn’t realise I was still paying £7.99 a month. Could I claim any of this back?
Thanks
Laura

Probably not if you just failed to cancel it, what's happened to the laptop? If you put in a claim with them and they just didn't cancel the policy you might have some comeback but if you just got rid of the laptop or even still have it but didn't tell them you want to cancel then you'd have no comeback against them.0

However, if you are no longer in possession of this lap top and you can prove this (bill of sale perhaps?), you might get a goodwill refund of the policy payments you have made since the lap top left you.
Otherwise, you really need to be checking your bank statements far more carefully..0
