HSBC Safeguard questions - unsure of some?

Hello, my father has recently being enquired by HSBC to update his personal details (even if he updated them just a few months ago) and there is two fields which were unsure what they are asking us.
Since the last time we had to send it twice because everything was not 100 % perfect, we feel we better ask, these are the two points;
Residential address held by you during the last 3 years?
and
On what date did you move to this address
This is refering to the previous residential address he had? because during part of this 3 years it was the same than the current.
Also, the date it requires, is it important that it is exact? as it was over 15 years ago, and I am unsure to be able to find proof of the exact date. If I cannot find, I just right an approximate, like 1/1/2003 would do?
Thanks for reading me.
Best Regards.

If he has been at the same address for 3 years, then there is no need to put in a second address.
It sounds like they are asking the date he moved to his current address. Just estimate it to the nearest month.0 -
The question is that he moved about a year ago, so in the previous year it is the same, but in the other two it would be another. They also ask what date did you move to your current address, so I imagine that the second question is at what time did you move to your previous address (which sounds a bit strange thing to ask, if I may say so).0

You seem to be over complicating this.
Q1 - the answer is 1) address he lives at now and 2) address he lived at before.
Q2 - date he moved to current address.

Beanie, there is two questions in the form; At what date did you move to your current address, and, under Residential address held by you during the last 3 years, On what date did you move to this address. If they ask twice I imagine it must be for different responses.0
