Hotel...Can I claim

Holiday to Guernsey this week
Hotels been booked via expedia and do not need to pay until 48 hours before. If flight is cancelled due to snow and I have already paid, will I be able to claim on insurance.

Not sure if to cancel the hotels and just risk losing the flight cost rather than flight and hotel if I can't claim?

Check your policy wording to see what happens if you are prevented from traveling due to bad weather and take it from there

Also check if it covers cancellation of flights to Guernsey as some will not cover this as some regard it as part of the UK

Why would you not be able to claim? What sort of cockamamie travel insurance do you have if it doesn't cover cancelled flights?
