should i still be paying decreasing life insurance
Do not cancel the policy until you have a replacement policy in place - or alternatively unless you are happy that you no longer need life insurance of any kind. The policy may not be a perfect match for your needs, but it is still likely to be better than no protection at all. This point is particularly important if you now have any health issues which might make getting a new policy difficult, expensive or even impossible.
Thanks for all the response to my questions all have been helpful . I am going to contact Aviva & see what they have to say & also have a look at other life cover to see what's on offer as I think I would now be better off getting rid of the decreasing cover as the pay out would be minimal & I think I could get a better sum assured cover for the kind of money I'm paying .
Thanks once again for everyone's comments.
