Company/Pool car differences

Hello,
Just over 12 months ago I was provided with a pool car for work as I was covering an employee that was on the sick. I never ever had my job role changed and wasn't officially seconded into the role. So my understanding is thatI was provided a pool car in the interim. Upon receiving my end of year tax details it shows that I had a tax code deduction for a company car that I had for 6 months. reading through some of things in here is states that I shouldn't see a reduction in a pool car? But if I was provided a company car then I should have my tax code reduced. Is there any specific lines on this and if its incorrect do I then get in touch with the former employer or the tax office? Any help would be great,
Thanks
Ian

is the pool car left at your place of work outside working hours or do you have access to it to take it home evenings/weekends etc?
Is the car used by multiple people?0 -
A pool car must meet these conditions for non tax purposes:

Did yours?0 -
Hi, it was left for me to take home. As it stood it was mine for the role I was doing as I was field based at the time. It was only used by myself for the 6 month period0

I must add that it wasn't used for anything other than work as I had my own personal car that I used0

It doesn't meet the criteria for a pool car therefore the car benefit charge is correct. The car was available for private use.0
