Car insurance for 17 year old

Hi has anyone got some recommendations on insurance. Currently with Markerstudy Insurance via Adrian Flux. We have had to have a blackbox which is fine but had the buy another when changing the car my daughter was driving to a smaller car just while her other car is being repaired - engine problem. Any suggestions whom we may try next. Also there are it’s of problems with Adrian Flux with bad reviews too saying it will cost you £100’s to leave before your insurance runs out and they push to cancel for no reason as well.

The rest of the reviews are probably spam.

Google any insurer and your likely to find poor reviews.

Cancel your insurance or make changed mid term and its going to cost you. The problem is the admin fee maybe small but the premium cost will be very high for a 17 year old so thats likely to be a larger part of the bill than the admin fees.

If her car was being repaired it may have been better to find alternative arrangements rather than swap the policy to another vehicle, especially so with a black box added to the issue.

Several insurers will cover a 17 year old with no admin fees, but those will be way down the comparison sites probably starting at £20,000 a year.

They didnt push to cancel you wanted to insure another vehicle. Cover could have stayed and you could have spent the money on repairing the car.
