    You can go straight into your account settings after entering the competition and remove the marketing option.

    I did that, before the competition. Then entered the comp and they added them back. So you need to do it after each competition BUT it doesn't stop the marketing from the competition you just entered..... so it makes no difference changing your settings IMO. Crafty.
