Quote for 2 bedroom PVC windows

I want to replace the back bedroom's windows as they are in a bit of a state and letting in the cold.

What do you think the average quote will be for 2 windows @ 145cm x 72cm?

I'm going to phone a few local companys next week for quotes.

Thanks

Did you get your quotes from local firms yet?
I'm in NE England and about to start getting quotes for 10 windows and 2 doors. No idea how much but based on your 2 door quote probably more than I can afford!!!
    Wish you luck

Hi, yes, the quote I got today for £630 was from a local firm that has been around for many many years and well recommended. The other 2 firms that are booked for quotes on Thursday are well known local companies that have been in the area for years too. All no salesmen, just straight in, measure up and out.

Although a relative has said the £630 quote is a bit high and told me to wait for the other quotes.

How did you get on with windows? Ive had loads of companies out to quote on mine. 10 windows and 2 doors. Fensa registered has quoted 3700 for the lot but suggesting a coloured composite door to front because we are are on a main road with loads of muck thrown up by traffic.
Anyone know owt about composite doors???
  • Cheapest quote I got was for £525 - another FENSA registered local company. Windows are being fitted on the 12th
