How to attach tarpaulin to shed roof

Hello, me again,
Can anyone advise the best way or alternative ways to attach a temp tarp to a 13x 8 foot shed roof? I thought about trying to drill it in place over some bits of wood but worry this'll compromise the already water soggy roof etc. I plan to fix the roof later in the year. It's a slanting roof higher at front, lower at back. Not apex.
I worry about putting things ontop as the wind will whip them off and into a neighbors cat/car/window etc.
Would guerilla tape work?
Thank you.

No tape won't work.
Probably easiest to just use a staple gun and then put some silicone or waterproof tape over the staples if its just a temp fix0 -
Get some battens and screw or nail them over the top of the tarp into whatever solid part of the roof you can locate. Use battens to pin the tarp down along the edges as well.0

just a warning..... those blue tarps you buy from DIY stores are not waterproof and leak like a sieve.
2 x 1 roof batterns are cheap, nailed down over visqueen or thick polythene. run them top to bottom not across. should keep weather at bay for a bit.0 -
It would be better (and probably quicker) to buy enough of these https://www.wickes.co.uk/Onduline-Green-Corrugated-Bitumen-Sheet-950-x-2000mm/p/240059 and do the job properly first time0

heavy gauge damp proof membrane
secured onto the roof with roof battens.
if done correctly, it could last a few years, but will look terrible.0 -
Tie some bricks to each corner.0

Won't Bitumen roof paint do the job of keeping the roof from leaking?0
