We bought a leather Chesterfield from FV in Nov 2017. It was the incorrect dimensions as advertised on the web. Then the problems started even though we complained within 30 days. Numerous calls and emails to the store ( Friern Barnet, North London) and a visit to the store to talk to the illusive manger and then calls/ emails to customer services. I then had to escalate this to a manager. This still had no effect. Then, to add insult to injury, they finally collected the sofa over two weeks ago and still did not action the refund ( a sizeable £2,398.00) and prevented me form buying another sofa for 3 months.I finally received the full refund yesterday after protracted calls to customer services ( the store still not picking up the phone -it must be a record!) and the threat of legal action. Absolutely appalling from start to finish. I am sure they were in breach of several bits of consumer law : goods sold as not advertised and having both the goods and the money for an unreasonable amount of time. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. I have reported them to Trading Standards.
