Stamp duty for someone who previously sold house

Hi.
I do not own any property. But 3 years ago, I sold an investment property that I owned.
I now intend to buy a property I want to live in myself.
For the purpose of stamp duty, would the property I want to buy be classed as a first home or a second property even though I do not currently own any other properties?
Any suggestions are welcome!

I think what you are asking is are you a first time buyer and so not have to pay SDLT, simple answer no..
If you have ever owned or part owned a property you are not a first time buyer.. You will need to pay SDLT0 -
It's not an additional property, so you do not have to pay the +3% SDLT.
It's not a first-time purchase, so you do not benefit from the FTB SDLT reductions.
You will pay the normal SDLT on the purchase.0
