  • Whilst we are not here to discuss the rights and wrongs of the system I would say that its some time now since limits were increased from £3000 to £6000, maybe time they were looked at again, after all why shouldn't the less well off be allowed to save a little?
  • Its late but I would ask that posters play nice and don't get into a slanging match I don't want to end up closing a thread that answers a valid question.

    Money in current account is included as capital less an amount for regular expenditure. So if you receive money fortnightly any money left at the end of the fortnight is effectively capital.
