Can I accept a refund via PayPal?

Noob question here:
I have an Ebay account and a PayPal account - I'm a buyer only, never sell.
I've bought something that was not correctly described and am about to contact the seller to discuss.
If I'm offered a refund/partial refund can it be paid back into to my PayPal?
