Weird Ebay Home Page

Hi guys,

Just went onto ebay with the intention of listing a few things but noticed this really strange wording at the top of the home page. It says:

Hello WQAAAA**

Then it has my user name in brackets and the option to sign out. Haven't noticed this before, has anyone else? Is this something new they've brought in or am I being paranoid?

Is there anyone in your household, who uses the same computer for their own ebay?

I dont know how it happens, but it happens to me and my OH occasionaly.

Sometimes it'll say Hello "my name" and then OH's ID.

I have been getting a similar thing as well. My name appears when I log in but after I revise or add an item to sell, it comes up with the funny ID. My usual name reappears when I log back in but it has happened again! The OH's is different from what appears.

Just done that. However, I log back in, try to revise my item and then it asks me to enter in my password. It doesn't recognise it! Crazy!

I have just gone through the change password procedure thinking that I had it wrong (I already changed it earlier due to paranoia about the weird ID thing) and it is doing it again! Can't revise my item! Luckily enough, it is only something minor but it is annoying!

Now I am getting a bit worried! Can you get through to a live person at eBay or is it the help centre all online?

this happened to a friend of mine, missed letters out and added some ** as well!! bizarre

My one happened like that too. But not today. ???
