after the past 2 days of searching through all the screen scraper websites and going to the ones which they don't pick up the cheapest insurance i could find on my car was £1000 with a £320 excess as Third Part F&T with me as a second driver in my parents name. the second closest i found was about £1200. i was going to sell my car as i could not afford the insurance, then my girlfriend told me to check the National Farmers Union. after going through it i got my insurance for £560 with £250 (+ £100 as young driver) excess with legal cover fully comp.

Is that with you as the policyholder and your parents as named drivers on your policy? Otherwise it is known as 'fronting' and in the case of loss or accident you may find yourself uninsured and with points on your license, or worse.:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
