Ticket from PCM / Trace Debt Recovery

Hi Guys,

I've been searching through many posts and have read the newbies thread but cannot find an answer on what to do next, I was hoping the experts in here can help pretty please.

I (our company) received a ticket through the post from PCM for parking where I live without displaying 'a valid PCM permit' even though I had a temporary daily permit from security/concierge. Security can't get involved and told me to take it up with PCM as they work separately.

Foolishly I took the advise of another resident to ignore the paperwork from this company as it's private land etc. Now after reading the advice on here that was not the correct thing to do?!

PCM have sent 2 letters so far asking for £100 / reduced to £60 if paid within 14 days. The car is leased so there's also £18 x 2 for them forwarding on the two letters from PCM.
This week our company has received a letter from Trace Debt Recovery demanding £160 and if the amount is not paid 'the appointed firm of solicitors may be instructed to to your case to court. Should the case go to court, additional court fees and legal costs may be recoverable from you'.

The parking charge was from early January. I have missed the appeal deadline. Pretty please can someone advise what I should do next.

Thanks in advance

Everyone is politely asked to read up on this in the Newbies FAQ thread near the top of the forum before starting a new thread.

There's a section devoted to company car/hire/leased etc keepers

Follow the advice there on how to get this taken away from the company and on to you as the day to day keeper

Now you are in the debt collectors stage. All explained in the FAQ

The newbie thread, which you obviously need to read again, gives clear guidance on your question.
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
