Hi,

I'm a bit confused that I can't see Co-op Energy coming up on The Cheap Energy Club. I gone through their website direct and they are the cheapest.

Does anyone have any experience with Co-op?

Thanks

Coop Energy is listed but many pages down the list for my kWh/year usage and postcode. How have you concluded that they are the cheapest by looking at a single supplier’s website? For my usage, the Coop would cost me about £100 more per year.

    Thank you Hengus.

I have looked at the Coop Energy (Coop Lite Online) prices and it's showing -
    Economy 7 (£ per kWh) Day rate - 0.1419 Night rate - 0.0999 Service charge - 0.20547
Where EDF (Online Saver) Day rate - 0.2086 Night rate - 0.07035 Service charge - 0.1890

    Gas with Coop - 0.0339 Service charge - 0.2055
    Gas with EDF - 0.0324 Service charge - 0.2625

I have even checked with British Gas, which by the website came up with good prices, but still worked out more expensive.

You need, with respect, to do a full market comparison using kWhs/year to work out the best (cheapest) overall deal. Both EDF and the Coop sit well down the listings so you could save a lot more by choosing one of the smaller suppliers like Bulb, Tonik, Ovo, or Zog (gas only). All four companies have excellent customer service ratings and Bulb and Octopus will credit you £50 when you join via a friends/family referral link. These discounts do not appear on PCWs.
