I am having the problem of games crashing to the above-coloured screen. I read somewhere this can be due to not enough power. My power supply is 225.8 watts. Could this be the problem?

    Desktop or laptop?
If a desktop, is it branded or a self-build?
Specifications of PC?-RAM memory, CPU, graphics card?
225.8 watts is not much at all, especially for a desktop PC. Where did you get that figure from?

I don't understand the "Red Screen" bit. Do you mean the screen is turning red and crashing? If so, it may also be a graphics card problem.

The figure was expressed on the psu itself. It is custom built. 8 gig of ddr 4 Radeon R7 cpu and onboard graphics. Also it does the same if I use a Gtx 1050 card. I have read that the red screen signifies not enough power.

Then it would seem that the PSU is the problem. You say "Custom Built" - by yourself? I would have fitted a more powerful PSU. This is the minimum I would fit to the build you have:

I have the 750M in my desktop. It's overkill really, but it has been in there for 3 years and still going well. There are other choices of course, from other manufacturers:

Anything at 450 Watts and above, marked as 80+. But Branded, no generic ones, that's a fals economy.
