Childcare Vouchers

Hi, I'm currently on maternity leave and would be better off using childcare vouchers rather than the new scheme. As I understand it, I not only need to have applied but also need to have received my first vouchers. As I'm taking 12 months leave and I'm just about to drop down to zero pay at 9 months, is this even possible or have I missed the boat? i.e. how can I buy vouchers when I'm on zero wages? Thanks.

You do indeed need to make the March order, but you can cancel after that for up to 12 months.

talk to your payroll about kit days or if they can honour £20 voucher just to get you in the system, even if you physically need to give them the £20 to do so.

If they say yes, register now and place an order for one month only.
Life is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?
