Credit Card Problem

I have a lloyds tsb platinum card and have balance of £7020, with a limit of £7000. I had a free transfer period which has now ended some time ago and have a stupid amount of interest applied each month. I have tried getting a new card for a balance transfer and even with a good credit rating have failed. I do have other debt and with a new family, would like to work debt free...help!!!
