Password on my credit file?

Hi,
am trying to open an account with Starling. They have told me that there is a password on my credit file and I need to confirm it. I imagine this was added about 8 years ago when I was the victim of ID fraud but I cannot remember what it is. Any idea how I clear it/reset it or recover it?
Thanks!
Mike

Why would they want your personal password to your credit file?0

Sorry, maybe I didn't make myself clear. What happened is that there is a marker on my file saying that anyone who wants to see it needs to quote a password. I found it by getting a report through Noddle/Call Credit.
Oddly, in the last 8 years, I've opened other bank accounts. mobile phone accounts, etc. without this happening. I can only guess that those providers did not go via Call Credit.0 -
You'll need to contact Call Credit.0

That still doesn't sound right0

Update:
After I provided Startling with the password recorded on my Call Credit report the account has been opened.0
