If they have upheld your complaint and offered you compensation then that should be sent in writing. Is it possible that you only had the offer made verbally the other day and written confirmation of that offer will arrive shortly? If not then phone them and ask for their offer in writing. Doing so does not mean that you have accepted the offer.casiocasio wrote: »I am not happy that the apology I received was for the 'inconvenience' caused when in reality I suffered emotionally and physically as I was in isolation the entire time.
On that count you may just have to accept the wording.
Do you mean that you were in medical isolation? If you do, that is not the insurance company's fault, and they can't be expected to apologise for any emotional distress caused by your medical predicament.0 -

Thank you. I have asked for the letter and they are in the process of having it checked over before sending it to me.
Yes, medical isolation. Sorry, I meant emotional distress in being told I would be sent home within the first week and then being told there was no date. Then having my hopes raised again at being told I was going home but then being told I needed to wait. This happened continuously until I contacted the CEO.
I accept that they didn't have to be sympathetic and people may wonder why we waited so long. At the time, you believe what you are being told.0
