Hi
When enquiring about Ppi i usually get told i never had it. I always declined due to great sick pay and deployment benefits ( im a teacher). However bank of scotland have sent me two Ppi questionnaires due two two sainsbury loans I had in 2011 and 2013. Does this mean i paid PPI? I have rang and asked but they wont confirm if i paid it or not.

Probably. Otherwise there is no reason to send the Q.
Or it maybe that they cant find any and hope that more questions and answers from you will help locate it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Did they send you the questionnaires without you first contacting them? If they sent them in response to you, then it confirms nothing about any PPI you may have had. Seems likely to be just an automatic response to a PPI query.Mrsmightyboo wrote: »bank of scotland have sent me two Ppi questionnaires due two two sainsbury loans I had in 2011 and 2013. If the Bank won't (or can't) confirm or deny that there was PPI you have the option of sending them a Subject Access Request (SAR) letter to see what information they hold on these two loans. Alternatively, you could fill in the questionnaires and hope that you don't end up with egg on your face if they write back rejecting your complaint because you didn't have PPI.
To be honest, these loans seem far too recent to have had PPI. By 2011, most lenders had already long ceased to offer the insurance.
EDIT Bank Of Scotland ceased to offer PPI in July 2010

I did contact them.
I thought the same. It was too late in the day to have had ppi.
Oh well.0
