    Chose from a plan.

was the toilet not shown on the plan? if so I doubt you can complain that your seat was near the toilet as it was you that selected it

No it wasn't on the plan.

There may have been more volume of space but there was less length than a standard seat

I don't even know what this means. I've never been in a bulkhead seat that didn't offer greater seat pitch but as noted, you do give up some foot space as there's no seat in front of you.
  • I think so iirc
If you have your day in court, I suggest you want to know so definitively rather than being wishy washy.

OK look everybody. The guy just asked what his next step should be if Air Canada are not responding to him. Getting bogged down in what he did or didn't book is irrelevant to be honest. And no it won't make a difference what path he should take depending on this.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

    I disagree

If he chose a seat from a plan then he got what he paid for and doesnt have a valid case for a refund IMO so it doesnt really matter wether they respond further

An aircraft plan would normally show toilets etc and seat guru would tell you wether the seat reclines etc etc.

Air Canada could of replied and pointed out the facts to him and explained that he was not entitled to any financial compensation,it would have taken them 10 mins and the price of a stamp,at least he would have known that they do care about their customers.

I read the first OP as they did reply and offered a percentage based discount off future travel. I think the OP may have made contact again (asking for a full refund of the supplement) and this is where things have stopped.

To be honest I am not sure that AC would want to get into protracted correspondence over something like this. An offer sounds like it has been made and rejected.
