Car insurance following Non Fault Claim

Yes I had someone from one of the insurance companies tell me that at the time, but it's still utter nonsense though isn't it? If you're not in your parked car and it gets hit, how can that make you more of a risk to be in another accident?0

The clue is in the description - "non fault". It doesn't matter if you're stopped at a junction and someone hits you, if your car is parked and hit by another car or if you are hit by something falling off a truck on the motorway, you are no more likely to be involved in another accident than if the first incident had never happened because you weren't at fault.
My point is that it's a nonsensical statistic. You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!

Also, I found that it didn't affect my premiums with every insurance company. eSure were about the worst, about £100 more per annum because of the claim iirc. But it was their customer service chap who told me about the stats which I appreciated. You can have results or excuses, but not both.Challenge - be 14 Stone BY XMAS!
