Two years NCB, on Two different policys

Right, long story short. I was banned from driving for a long time. When the time come to insure another car I could not find proof of the 1 years NCB from my previous policy and went and took a new policy without it. However I have since found the proof, but Am nearing the end of the new policy. So now i actually have 2 years NCB, but from 2 different policys. My question is would I be able to use the 2 years NCB (which technically I have) and be able to use them on my renewal? or have I just lost a years no claims lol

You can't add them together like this.
(You don't say how old the lost NCD is, but most insurers would only accept it up to 2 years "old" anyway)0 -
