Used car fault

Hi, I bought a used car at the start of January. During the test drive I noticed the brakes had a slight judder but the salesman pointed out that the rear brakes were due to be replaced and were replaced before delivery. They forgot to replace the brake wear sensor, so week ago they replaced it.
The car felt fine, then approx 3 weeks later the judder became more apparent. It was at this point that I had tried to book in the car for the brake wear sensor that I had also reported the brakes juddering.
Today I managed to get it looked and by the garage who diagnosed it as warped front brakes. The salesman stated that because it was a consumable part, they would not replace it.
Where do I stand? Would warped brakes come under the sale of goods act as the vehicle is under 3 months old and therefore could be assumed it was a pre existing fault?
Thanks
Nick

If you'd said the judder was there from day 1 you could argue it was a pre existing fault but you then go on to say the car felt fine for the next 3 weeks.0

How old is the car, from new I mean, not just how long have you had it.0

Sale of Goods act was replaced by Consumer Rights Act October 2015, so if you are going to try to invoke that with the supplier, best to use correct terms.0

You said the car was used so it's not new. When you buy used goods you get the wear and tear free. You can't claim for wear and tear.0
