Advice on credit card outstanding balance

Hi Everyone, great site
Would like a bit of advice
basicly i've got £2000 outstanding on my halifax one credit card, i had 9 months interest free on purchases on the card but that came to an end in september 2007, however i'm being charged about £15-20 per month now and cannot afford to pay the full £2000 off in one go.
can anyone give me any advice on whats the best method to use to enable me to pay the rest off near interest free for say the next 3 or 4 months
I've had a look on a few new cards but the balance transfer rate is silly.
thanks

Silly compared to what? the BT fee of 2.5 / 3% (zero fees are long gone) will be nothing compared to the interest you will get charged on 2K.
Barclays have a new card out that will offer you 14mths 0% on BT with a 2.5% fee.

hi sniper
thanks for your advice, i've been looking around on the MSE site and found this :
Capitalone deal
Am I correct in saying that there is 0 % on balance transfer and "no fee"
Just wondering it anyone else can back this up before i sign up for one.

This card has an "excellent credit score" requirement. Check you're eligible before wasting an application.docklandsuk wrote: »Am I correct in saying that there is 0 % on balance transfer and "no fee"

i do pretty much fall into the excellent bracket, however i have two credit cards, one with 4500 limit and one with 3500
it states a credit card with at least 5000 limit
does it take it my two cards as £8000 or does it mean per card0
