Staingard warranty on Multiyork Sofa

Hi all
I bought a sofa from Multiyork last year and luckily it was delivered just before they went into administration. Along with the sofa, we also paid for a Staingard warranty, to protect against accidental damage (spillages, tears etc).
We had an accident earlier this year when a visitors dog peed on the sofa and stained one of the cushions. We contacted Staingard who came out and treated the stain, but it didn't get rid of it.
When we contacted Staingard to inform them, they responded that because Multiyork have now gone into administration, there is nothing further they are able to do (i.e. replace the cushion cover) and have therefore offered to refund us the money for the warranty. Obviously this means that we would then not have a warranty on the sofa, but in some ways the warranty is fairly useless now that Multiyork aren't around any more.
Can anyone advise what our consumer rights are? Should we accept the refund, or stick to our guns and request a replacement cushion cover (not quite sure how this would be possible though - maybe another company makes the same material...?)
Thanks in advance

Your consumer rights are with the retailer (the company you bought from). Your guarantee is with the manufacturer.0
