I am both purchasing the freehold on my house and selling it at the same time although funding it separate. I have a buyer for my house who wants to exchange quickly, can we sign and exchange contracts and hand over keys before completion of the freehold?
Many thanks

Yes - if the buyer and their mortgage lender is happy to do that.
But the buyer may not be happy because... they might buy the leasehold house, then the freeholder 'change their mind' about selling the freehold.
And/or if the buyer has been offered a mortgage on the freehold house, the lender won't release the money if the buyer just buys the leasehold.0
